030613-N-0493B-007Rayong, Thailand (Jun. 13, 2003) -- A Royal Thai Marine musician jumps in with the tambourine and gets encouragement from Musician 2nd Class Scott Mythen assigned to the 7th Fleet Band ÒOrient ExpressÓ during a performance at the Ban Thrao Thong School following a dedication ceremony for the building they were performing in. The open-air multi-purpose facility was constructed for the school by Seabees assigned to Naval Mobile Construction Battalion Three's (NMCB-3) air detachment, with the help of Royal Thai Marine engineers. The project was part of the Thailand phase of exercise Cooperation Afloat Readiness and Training (CARAT). CARAT is a regularly scheduled series of bi-lateral military training exercises between the U.S. and several Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN). U.S. Navy photo by Lt. Chuck Bell.
