050113-N-6363M-011Persian Gulf (Jan. 13, 2005) Ð Airman Michael Cross, a plane captain assigned Carrier Airborne Early Warning Squadron One Two Six (VAW-126), instructs the pilots of a C-2A Greyhound, assigned to the ÒRawhidesÓ of Fleet Logistics Support Squadron Four Zero (VRC-40), during start-up procedures aboard USS Harry S. Truman (CVN 75). The Nimitz-class aircraft carrier and her embarked Carrier Air Wing Three (CVW-3) are providing close air support and conducting intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance (ISR) missions over Iraq.
